I ponder over the vast and awesome universe. Indeed, it just blows my mind.
While there are as many as 100 billion stars in our Milky Way Galaxy,
more than 350 billion galaxies extend beyond the realms of our vision.
Recently
the United States’ WISE rocket was propelled out farther, exploring the
expanse of space that we only marvel today. Guess what, the quest seems
as if just begun, to reveal hidden galaxies unexplored! The depth of
the universe seems boundless, regardless of the extent, to which I
stretch my mind.
What amazes me more is that there is a God, awesome and powerful that he spoke it all into existence.
Astonishing as it may sound, is God who made it all, decided to become one of us and be born as a baby among us. Our mind just isn’t capable to conceive it all, but he did in spite of our ability to understand it all.
Why? Why the creator of it all would be born as a baby like one of us. Unable to dig reasons behind it, I believe I have stumbled across a few. In all probabilities, to know first of all, what God
really is like? He is no longer just a cosmic force, somewhere out
there in time and space. He became one of us so we can know him
personally.
He
also left glory to walk over our earth so as to provide us a way, to be
forgiven of our sins and spend an eternity with him. Leaving me
baffled, I am still amazed at the wonder of it all!
Would you like to know how that makes me feel? It makes me want to live the rest of my life with a passion to please the one who created it all. It makes me more determined than ever to trust him and serve him out of absolute gratitude for what he has done for me.
It just blows my mind.
